After more than two decades in radio and television news, I understand what today's news media is looking for and how to convince them that you have a story worth telling. I also know how to create promotional and marketing materials that grab peoples' attention.
I created the Student Voices Flyer to recruit teachers and other educators for Student Voices projects all across the country. The flyer is also used to tell policymakers about the important role of Student Voices in connecting young people to their local government and to the political process. Other marketing and outreach materials that I designed for Student Voices include media handouts such as the Pennsylvania Student Voices Fact Sheet.
As a paid consultant and through volunteer work, I produce fundraising materials, informational brochures and business cards, press releases, fact sheets, event materials and other documents to help organizations frame their message and reach their targeted audience.
